Prior to volume 60 (1986), the Journal of Paleontology was owned jointly by The Paleontological Society and SEPM (then the Society for Economic Paleontology and Mineralogy; now Society for Sedimentary Geology). Copyrights for those volumes are held by SEPM. Requests to publish images or illustrations printed in those volumes of the Journal of Paleontology should be directed to the current Publications Coordinator of SEPM.
